Adoption is a challenging and rewarding experience and at Families For Children we aim to treat prospective adopters with respect and honesty while making the process of assessment transparent and even handed.

There are eligibility criteria but there are no "blanket bans" on the grounds of age, weight, appearance, disability, sexuality, income or marital status etc. As an Agency we consider all applications on their individual merit. Children who are approved to be adopted come from diverse backgrounds and we therefore need prospective adoptive families who represent a wide diversity as well.

Adopters who are approved by Families For Children Adoption Panel have the opportunity to be matched with children from all over the country.
