Families for Children Adoption Agency based at Buckfastleigh are delighted to announce that they received ‘outstanding’ in the area of helping children achieve well and enjoy what they do. This inspection judgement means that this aspect of the provision is of exceptionally high quality.


“The support provided to children and adopters is a real strength of this agency. The good preparation and the careful attention paid to obtaining good quality information about the child and their needs ensures that a sound basis for planning support to children and families is established.

It is clear that this agency takes a child focused approach to all of its work including the assessment and provision of support to placements and that support is a life long commitment.”
