Wood’s Estate Agents & Auctioneers staff are extremely proactive in raising much needed funds for the local community having already raised over £32,000 for their chosen charities.

Between now and Christmas for every market valuation carried out by Wood’s Estate Agents & Auctioneers (Sales & Lettings) they will donated a 2009 Collectable Woody Bear to the Woody Bear Appeal. The Woody Bear Appeal is a scheme that came about as a result of an idea by one of the company's directors (Jason Baker), who thought it would be nice to give something back to the local community this Christmas and in particular to children. Therefore the company have commissioned hundreds of soft bears to be shared between children’s charities (now local and overseas) this December.

When you book your free no obligation valuation with one of Wood’s offices they will donated one Woody Bear to the Woody Bear Appeal. Even if you don’t put your house on the market with them they will still give the children a Teddy Bear for Christmas!

During December the company will calculate how many valuations they have carried out and the bears will then be shared out between various children’s charities. Little Woodys will be heading out this December to bring happiness to Families for Children, All Star Kids (for children born in prison in Zambia), Jeremiahs Journey (the South Devon children’s bereavement charity), The Children’s Trust, CLIC Sergeant and various shoe box appeals.
