 Families for Children is the only Voluntary Adoption Agency in the far South West. We work with people who want to adopt and we place children from all over the UK who have experienced loss and upheaval, within stable, loving families in Devon, Cornwall and Dorset.
We are special because we have a ‘forever’ policy of support and this means that we offer support to the child and new family for as long as they need us.
 We are a Christian charity and this underpins everything we do. Our highly specialised and committed staff team work tirelessly to ensure that every child we place receives the best possible new start and is able to reconcile their past to realise a positive future.

 Our Patron, Michael Caines MBE, and Vice Patron, Judi Spiers - Families for Children is delighted to have the support of two well-known local celebrities, Michael Caines and Judi Spiers.
Michael says 'Families for Children is a charity close to my heart, as I am myself adopted and benefited from growing up in a loving family. Adoption does work and gives a huge amount of benefit and joy to the adoptee and parents alike.'
